Would like to have input from Ford 46o Owners who have considered a buildup. I own 2 jets, 1 75 Taylor SS w/ 500CID Mondello Olds, a second boat an 1989 JBE "picklefork" which came with a 460. I'm considering going with the 460 base block and increasing stroke to 4.300 or larger to gain 514 CID or more.Do Other Ford owners think the cost vs. HP/TO outputs justify the additional costs? I already have a BDS 8-71 Stage 3 blower with 2 1050's on top, considering switching to an FI Birdcatcher with NOS fogger between the hat and blower rotors.(Next year after I build the motor back). I already have the blower on the 460 as it was and with the B+/C- impeller at 7500 were running 129mph streight up 1:1 boost or @8lbs of boost. Any comments from 460 stroker motors or ppl knowlegdable on Fords please contact me at CRZYHOTROD@AOL.COM. I know ZERO about fords. Please help!!
